Converse recently ran a contest for artists to design pop art styled prints for a pair of Converse Chuck Taylors. There were over 1700 prints submitted and out of tweny finalists three winners were chosen. The winning designs were judged by a panel of artists, journalists and art curators. The winners will have their art featured on a pair of converse sneakers next year as well as a cash prize and a year long supply of Converse sneakers. The three winners are: Matheus Lopes Castro, Jeferson Antônio Vieira da Silveira and Adriano Parents Cinelli. There designs are below.
